Phase One: Shall consist of all equipment, materials, and personnel necessary to complete the milling of the existing asphalt pavement, the construction of the raised concrete island, and the installation of concrete sign post foundations. • Mobilization • Maintenance of Traffic (MOT) installation in accordance to the Detour Plans (see Attachments) • Milling shall conform to Section 515 of the Virginia 2020 Road and Bridge Specifications • Construction of the raised concrete island shall conform with Section 502 of the Virginia 2020 Road and Bridge Specifications • Construction of concrete signpost foundations shall conform to Section 700 of the Virginia 2020 Road and Bridge Specifications and Standards STP-1 and STP-2 of VDOT’s current Road and Bridge Standards. • Securing worksite in such a manner as to prevent accidental entry into the work site Phase Two: Shall consist of all equipment, materials, and personnel necessary to complete paving operations, installation of pavement markings, and installation of signposts and permanent signage • Mobilization • Placement of pavement in accordance with Section 315 of the Viriginia 2020 Road and Bridge Specifications • Installation of pavement markings in accordance with Section 704 of the Virginia 2020 Road and Bridge Specifications • Removal of project related Maintenance of Traffic (Temporary Traffic Control Devices)
