PURPOSE The purpose of this Quick Quote is to solicit quotes for a resident engagement program (and required hardware) for the residents at the Davis and McDaniel Veterans Care Center and the Sitter and Barfoot Veterans Care Center. SPECIFICATIONS Davis and McDaniel Veterans Care Center and Sitter and Barfoot Veterans Care Center wish to purchase a resident engagement software program, and any required hardware. The system should be designed to enrich the lives of older adults, especially those in senior living communities, nursing homes, and memory care settings. The system should promote engagement, connection and cognitive well-being through easytouse, seniorfriendly technology.’ The system should provide engaging, personalized activities such as cognitive games, reminiscence tools, music and videos, spiritual content and learning modules. The system should be person centered to reduce agitation and emotional distress in residents with dementia. The system should support memory care and therapy by enhancing cognitive abilities, supporting sensory stimulation and providing structed therapy sessions. The system should have a touchscreen interface that makes it accessible for residents with limited tech experience. The system should encourage social connection by assisting resident to communicate with family and friends through email, video calls and shared group activities. The system should have no less than four thousand (4,000) content applications, tools for social interaction and physical exercise modules. Davis and McDaniel Veterans Care Center will require two smaller mobile units (23 inch screen) and two larger stationary units (55 inch screens). Sitter and Barfoot will require two smaller mobile units (23 inch screen) and two larger stationary units (55 inch screens).
