Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1.Unit Descriptiona)All toilets are standard-sizedunits.b)Include information for ADA compliant portable toilet units.b)Toilets shall be green in color, with translucent roofs.c)All units and replacements shall be in new to excellent condition. 2.Weekly Cleaninga)Each unit shall be thoroughly emptied and cleaned.b)Toilet seat surface areas (top, bottom, sides) shall also be wiped down with non-toxic disinfectant. c)Units shall be restocked with toilet paper one (1) time per week.NOTE: Cleaning visits for all school sites must take place before 8:30 a.m.or after 3:00 p.m.3.Emergency Site Visits and Replacementsa)The Contractor awarded this bid shall bear all material loss and expense for providing replacement toilets whenever units are in partial disrepair for any reason (including normal wear and tear and vandalism). Replacement units shall be provided during thesame day on which the Contractor receives notification.b)The County shall be charged for an "Emergency Site Visit" at the “Unit Cost” provided by the Contractor on the attached Price Sheet. Emergency Site Visits include non-scheduled cleanings and siterepositioning requested by the County as well as replacement units needed for obvious cases ofvandalism.NOTE: The County shall be charged to replace units that are burned, stolen, or otherwise left completely inoperable or unusable as a result of vandalism. Bidders shall enter the costs for new unit replacements on thePrice Sheet.c)An Emergency Site Visit shall not be charged to the County whenever a unit becomes damaged through normal use or from a weather-related incident.d)The County may need additional toilet units for special events, weekendactivities, or in situations where existing facilities are closed and undergoing repair. The County will communicate the need for additional units in advance of their delivery (minimum of 5 business days). The fee and maintenance of any additional units will be the same as the fees outlined in thisdocument.
