The project is generally described as the renovation of the first and second floors of the existing 35,084 sf, 2 story building consisting of a brick, CMU and glass façade on a structural concrete frame. Improvements to the CF Building include mechanical system upgrades, a new sprinkler system, lightning protection upgrades, renovating the food service areas, ADA upgrades, rehabilitation of student activity areas, and physical modifications to the building’s exterior. A café and multipurpose lounge will be included on the second floor. Other spaces in the renovation include offices, new toilet rooms, storage rooms, a classroom, a meditation room, and outdoor dining. The building will not be occupied during construction.
