1. The successful bidder shall provide to the City of Roanoke efficiency accommodations including the following: a. Efficiency accommodations shall include one king bed or two double/queen bed, stovetop cooking capability, kitchen or kitchenette, and bath. b. Accommodations shall be located on or near City bus routes. c. Accommodations must be located within City of Roanoke limits. d. Accommodations must have on-site laundry facilities. e. Accommodations must be available in smoking and non-smoking. f. Accommodations shall include handicapped accessible rooms as needed in accordance with Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act, 24 CFR Part 8, Title II and III of the Americans with Disabilities Act. 2. The successful bidder shall provide to the City of Roanoke suite accommodations including the following: a. Suite accommodations shall include one-bedroom suite with one king bed or two double/queen bed, stovetop cooking capability kitchen or kitchenette, and bath. b. Accommodations shall be located on or near City bus routes. c. Accommodations must be located within City of Roanoke limits d. Accommodations must have on-site laundry facilities. e. Accommodations must be available in smoking and non-smoking. f. Accommodations shall include handicapped accessible rooms as needed in accordance with Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act, 24 CFR Part 8, Title II and III of the Americans with Disabilities Act. 3. Damages to rooms shall be the responsibility of the occupant. The City will not be responsible for charges related to damages and/or cleaning. 4. The City will contact the successful bidder to secure reservation at the time of need. The City will be responsible only for charges related to the nightly rate per room. Accommodations will be requested on an as needed basis. There is no guarantee of minimum work related to accommodations for relocation services. The City reserves the right to request reservation(s) in its sole discretion. 5. The successful bidder must accept payment by credit card. 6. All work shall be performed in accordance with the HUD Terms and Conditions provided herein. Successful bidder must conform to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development Office of Lead Hazard Control and Healthy Homes’ Lead-Based Paint Hazard Reduction Grant Program Fiscal Year 2024 – Terms and Conditions (Exhibit #). The successful bidder must have a Unique Entity ID (UEI) to be verified in the federal System for Award Management (SAM) at www.SAM.gov prior to award.
