A. Contractor shall provide all equipment, labor, and supplies necessary to provide efficient, sanitary, and satisfactory refuse and recycling collection and disposal services for various Stafford Schools and County facilities on an as-needed basis. “Satisfactory” shall be defined as no visible trash, dirt, dust or odors, uniformly clean, hygienic, orderly, and attractive; a level of cleanliness which will reflect favorably upon Stafford Schools’ and the County. The supplies and/or services shall strictly conform to the specifications set forth in this solicitation, any subsequent contract, and any amendments thereto. Refuse collected under this contract is expected to include items that fit into the contractor-furnished containers and is acceptable to the Stafford County R-BOARD landfill as refuse. (http://r-board.org/) B. Services shall include refuse and single stream recycling collection services for Stafford Schools and County facilities. The current schedule of services is listed in Attachment A and Attachment B. This may not be a complete list of all sites that will be serviced for Stafford Schools and Stafford County; individual sites and departments will issue Purchase Orders for service as needed. Services are on an as-needed basis and are subject to changes during the term of the contract. Any changes shall result in an increase or decrease in the contract price per the pricing of the resulting contract. C. Contractor shall provide containers of adequate size as defined in Attachment A and Attachment B. Any changes to the container sizes will be made by Stafford Schools or Stafford County in the form of a contract amendment. Recycling containers shall be: 1. Blue in color to distinguish them as recycle containers, 2. Cardboard Slot Front Load Containers; and 2. Stenciled or marked in a way that designates them as recycling containers D. Contractor shall provide single stream recycling to all facilities as indicated in this IFB and additional sites that are added during the contract term. With this method, all recyclables except waste are collected in the same recycling container. The only exception is recyclable products, which are soiled with food (identify areas of recyclables that are accepted).
