The Virginia Department of Corrections seeks assistance in recruiting medical professionals who are interested in becoming state employees and working for the VADOC: Offerors should: Analyze market conditions and develop marketing strategies that are appealing and attractive to qualified candidates for positions identified by the DOC Health Services Recruiter. Advertise, market, and provide a pipeline of viable candidates for DOC to consider for hiring. Perform all work in a confidential manner and report only to the DOC designated agency personnel. Provide recommendation regarding any items and/or issues that the agency should consider to assure a successful search. Perform additional, related search and recruitment services as agreed between the parties. Offerors should have a minimum of 2 years business experience in providing the services described herein. The DOC will notify the Contractor if they present a recruit/candidate(s) that has already been considered or presented to DOC by either presentation by another staffing or recruitment firm or has made independent application directly to the agency. Should the recruit/candidate already be known to DOC, he/she shall not be considered to have been introduced to DOC by the Contractor and no fees will apply. Upon knowledge of such recruit/candidate(s), DOC will notify the Contractor within ten (10) business days of initial presentation that the presented candidate(s) is previously known to VADOC.
