Specifications include, but are not limited to: I.Youth Tackle Football League Games. The first date of games for youth tackle football is tentatively set for the last weekend in Februaryand end in December. Youth tackle football is typically played on Saturdays from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM. II.Adult Flag Football League Games. The first date of games for adult flag football is tentatively set for the first weekend in Mayand end in December. The games are typically played on Sundays from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM.III.GeneralRequirements. A.The Contractor is required to submitthe followingdocumentation with bid submittal :1.Documentation of affiliation with anationallycertifiedsportsofficials associationto be verified by City upon award.2.List of officialsto referee scheduled gamesto include: mailing address, telephone number and email(successfulcompletion of background check is required). Contractor must have an adequate number of qualified officials on hand to cover simultaneous games, and absences due to illnesses. Determination will be made by the Contract Administrator.3.Business LicenseIV.Specific Requirements.A.Officials assigned by the ContractorShall:1.Be at least eighteen (18) years of age2.Must pass required background check3.Be certified by a national governing body of football4.Adhere to uniform standards: Black/White Striped Officials ShirtSolid Black Pants or ShortsBlack Socks/Black ShoesWhistleV.Scheduled, Rescheduled and Cancelled Games. The schedule of games will be distributed tothe Contractor two (2) weeks prior to the start of the season, and the Contractor shall provide confirmation of receipt via email. The City shallnot be bind to complete scheduled games, and reserves the right to add or reduce games upon mutual agreement of both parties. The Contractor will be required to arrive fifteen(15)minutes prior to the game time for all scheduled games. Any game that has to be rescheduled due to the required lackof coverage shall be done so at no cost to the City. In the event of inclement weather,no fee will be paid to the Contractor for cancellation. Forgames cancelled with at least twenty-four (24) hours’ notice, theCity will not pay any fees to the Contractor. In the event of a less than twenty-four (24) hours’ notice, the City will pay fifty percent (50%) of the Contractor’s game fee (Does not apply to cancellations that result from inclement weather). For information regarding cancellations, the Contractor must call the Hampton Athletics hotline at 757-727-6251. Forfeits that are unknown in advance will be paid as full game
