RE-CONDITIONING SERVICES. All equipment shall be cleaned and sanitized in accordance with the original manufacturer’s recommended procedures. Where the original manufacturer’s procedures exceed the standards of the NAERA, the original manufacturer’s procedures shall take precedence. Reconditioning of helmets will include, but not be limited to the following: decals, tape and adhesive residue removal, disassembly, inspection, buffing and/or sand blasting, cleaning, sanitizing, painting, testing, replacement of all interior missing or defective parts with original manufacturer parts and all hardware with new hardware and reassembly. Contractor must match the current helmet paint to the color of the school unless otherwise instructed in writing by the school’s Athletic Director.
