General Scope of Work: • On-site race timing using RFID chip timing with UHF tags to ensure accurate start, split, and finish times. • Race Timer must have the ability to accurately record times and integrate them with the RunSignUp platform to provide real-time results and notifications. • Ability to program results for respective award categories (overall, age groups, teams, etc.). • Backup timing in case of equipment failure (video backup). • Pre-race coordination with race director to ensure optimal timing point placement, review schedule and confirm race details. Vendor will order timing chips and mail to Frederick County Parks & Recreation to adhere to bibs c. Real-Time results IV. Support from timer for all race questions/concerns a. Timer will record finish line video for timing purposes and upload video to RunSignUp. b. Timer will help make corrections to results in the case of timing issues. V. Breakdown of All Equipment and Supplies Shenandoah Apple Blossom Festival Races Event #1: Kids’ Bloomin’ Mile: 1300-1500 participants May 1, 2026– 4:00 PM Start Handley High School, Winchester, VA Event #2: 10K: 1300-1500 participants May 2, 2026– 8:30 AM Start Handley High School, Winchester, VA Kids’ Mile Services Needed: I. Start/Finish Line a. Start and Finish Lines are in two different locations b. Provide timing mats for both the start and finish lines c. Finish Line arch and barricades II. Music and Announcing a.
