The Thomas Jefferson National Accelerator Facility (Jefferson Lab) is requesting information regarding a future solicitation to provide cafeteria, catering and vending services at the laboratory in Newport News, VA. Any subsequent subcontract awarded will be on a non-subsidized basis where revenue is generated at the points of sale for cafeteria and catering services. The use of the Thomas Jefferson National Accelerator Facility (TJNAF) federal facilities will be authorized at no cost to the subcontractor and is to be used for TJNAF cafeteria, catering, and vending food services only. Accordingly, with a straight profit or loss basis subcontract, the Subcontractor bears the burden of financial risk.
