Through the Bureau of Justice Assistance (BJA), LCS was recently awarded $981,873 in grant money to support the training requested below from 10‐1‐23 through 9‐30‐26. It is anticipated that LCS will use approximately ten (10) percent of those funds to pay for direct training of alternative education and behavior staff (approximately 250 staff members) and the Training of Trainers for a portion of the behavior team (10 staff) performed by vendors contracted as a result of this RFP process. Occasionally, contracted vendors may offer pro‐bono services under a contract; however, at this time, no funding from non‐governmental sources is currently projected to be used to pay for contracted services or training as a result of this RFP process. Due to the use of Federal funding being utilized for the payment of some portion of the training. By submitting a proposal, Offerors agree to abide by the rules and regulations as outlined on Attachment A ‐ Federal Requirements Contract Insert, shall complete Attachment B ‐ Certification Regarding Lobbying Form with their proposal, (that form will not be counted toward the page count of any proposal) and stipulate that they are not currently barred from entering into partially or fully funded Federal Contracts.
