REMOVE HAZARD TREES BATTLEFIELD & ROAD - Fredericksburg and Spotsylvania NMP (FRSP)
Fredericksburg and Spotsylvania National Military Park (FRSP) has a requirement for tree removal services. Through tree assessments performed by National Park Service staff, the park has identified high risk trees in the park. The work identified will need to be completed through tree felling, tree dismantling, and /or rigging operations, chipping and hauling dependent upon the individual jobsite specific requirements.
The contractor shall provide all services including labor, equipment, and tools required to remove identified high risk trees, trim the roadsides, protect the resource while accessing the work sites, and complete the work in accordance with the requirements in the scope of work. The estimated total number of trees to be removed is 181.
Work shall be completed within 90 days of task order award.
All work shall be under the direction and general supervision of an Arborist(s) certified by the International Society of Arboriculture (ISA), or equivalent state certification, who, possess verifiable experience and technical competence in tree physiology, identification, diagnosis of disorders, and current tree care and safety practices in accordance with accepted industry standards.

The NPS anticipates awarding a Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) order resulting from this RFQ. Award shall be made based on price to the responsible, responsive
offeror whose quote fully meets the requirement.
