Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Virginia Community College Shared Services Center (herein referred to as “SSC”) is Soliciting bids from qualified firms to Furnish, Snow Removal Services as requested, to Wytheville Community College, 1000 East Main Street, Wytheville, Virginia 24382. Successful bidder shall be responsible for providing all labor, supervision, equipment, and incidentals to provide services as herein defined to remove accumulated snow from parking lots and drives. Successful bidder shall be responsible for beginning efforts to remove snow within two (2) hours of receiving a call for service from the Contract Administrator or his/her designee. Snow removal will be on a priority schedule as defined below. The Successful bidder shall provide to WCC phone numbers that the Contractor agrees to answer 24 hours per day, seven (7) days per week. The Successful bidder agrees to perform services Sunday through Saturday, as needed by WCC. Should the Governor of Virginia issue a declaration of emergency that affects the Wytheville area, the successful bidder shall not be held to the two (2) hour arrival commitment, but shall not respond, under any circumstance, longer than four (4) hours from receiving a call for service from the Contract Administrator or his/her designee.
