Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Contractor shall provide all labor, supervision, equipment, tools, materials and incidentals necessary to provide pump maintenance and repair services. The various types of pumps to be serviced under a resulting contract include water, oil, fuel and wastewater pumps. Work performed under a resulting contract shall be considered time sensitive as the Jamestown Scotland Ferry is a 24-hour operation. The Contractor shall: 1. Regularly perform pump maintenance and repairs to water, oil, fuel and wastewater pumps similar to those on the ferry boats and have the necessary facilities, experience, and technical skills to successfully fulfill the contract requirements in accordance with industry standards. 2. Be an ITT Gould Pumps Authorized Service Center with SKF and Timken Certification 3. Provide a 24-hour customer service phone number for requests. 4. Respond to calls for service and be onsite within twelve (12) hours. 5. Troubleshoot malfunctions/issues with the various type pumps on the ferry boats and make necessary repairs and replace defective parts and components as required. 6. Perform all quality assurance checks, correct any deficiencies, and provide signed legible written or typed reports of the results once completed. 7. Ensure the technicians sign themselves in and out each day. The logbook is located in the Administration Building. 8. Provide service tickets for onsite services and daily log (time) sheets for in shop services. 9. Keep the Department Representative updated on the status of repairs.
