Specifications include, but are not limited to: the construction/installation of Virginia Community College System – Tidewater Community College – Chesapeake Campus, Chesapeake Student Center Building installation of Access Controls; The project consists of providing electronic security system improvements to the Tidewater Community College’s (TCC) Chesapeake Student Center (CSC) on the Chesapeake Campus, Chesapeake, VA utilizing the College’s CBORD CS Access control system. The security work involves the installation of access control and/or intrusion detection at approximately thirty-nine (39) doors, i.e., entrances, exits, and classroom doors throughout the facility. Many of the doors have been provided with pathways and/or cabling furnished during construction of the facility. Contractor will be required to complete the installation consisting of furnishing and installing security equipment (cardreaders, controllers, reader modules, power supplies, cabling, electronic door hardware) where required. Use of a CBORD certified installer is required.
