ESCRIPTION OF WORK 1) Work will be performed at various locations in and around the City of Staunton. 2) Work will be as directed by the City, and will include such activities as follows: a. providing overgrown lawn cuts (grass greater than 10” high) b. removing grass, weeds, and/or unmanaged growth c. removing trash and other debris; 3) Contractors need to be available to perform work within 2-3 days after request for service. 4) Work will be performed at the direction of the Property Maintenance Inspector for the City of Staunton. 5) Contractors shall be responsible for furnishing all equipment, labor, material, and supervision for performing all work. 6) All tipping fees shall be billed to the City at cost for any debris hauled to the landfill on the City’s behalf. Documentation of fees shall be provided with work invoice. 7) Work will be assigned based on the City’s estimated needs. 8) Pictures of before and after work must be sent in with invoices. 9) The City reserves the right to award contracts to more than one vendor, as deemed appropriate by the City. 10) Blanket purchase orders will be issued to successful contractor(s) to cover an estimated quantity of work. Quantity may increase or decrease, depending on the needs of the City.
