Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. Ideally this series should have 8-12 sessions (twice per month), lasting approximately three months, and should be offered at least twice per year. Spring and fall sessions are preferable. 2. Desired training topics may be centered around transformational leadership, selfawareness, employee engagement, coaching, utilizing evaluations for positive growth and development, accountability, and critical thinking. 3. A detailed course outline will need to be provided by the consultant. 4. The consultant will be responsible for communicating to the localities and the participants directly. 5. The consultant will be responsible for preparing all related printed materials, providing make-up sessions, and coordinating a final recognition program for all participants and representatives from localities, to include a certificate of completion 6. The consultant should be willing and available to provide additional ad hoc training sessions on specialized topics that may be outside of the topics in the series above, which would not be included in the twice per year training program. These sessions would be as identified and requested by the members of the New River Valley Local Government Partners, and would be scheduled as mutually agreed upon by the partners and the contractor.
