The Successful Offeror shall provide professional engineering services as required to complete the design, permitting, bidding, and construction administration phase services for the project in accordance with all regulatory requirements and accepted industry standards. Additionally, professional engineering services, shall include all supervision, labor, material, equipment, etc., for the Project including normal engineering services, necessary field surveys and topographic and utility mapping for design purposes, application for necessary permits and regulatory approvals, and environmental work necessary to obtain environmental permits required for construction. If the County awards to multiple offerors, the selected firms will be expected to coordinate and collaborate with each other. B. Specific Requirements: 1. Field Survey Efforts: An aerial topographic survey shall be provided for the project corridor. The Successful Offeror shall provide a utility survey and as required, a supplemental topographic survey. The Successful Offeror shall conduct subsurface utility engineering (“SUE”) investigations to determine the location of important underground facilities. 2. Geotechnical Investigations. The Successful Offeror shall conduct geotechnical investigations including, but not limited to, soil borings, rock cores and auger probing, as required to complete the permit drawings/submittals and provide adequate detail for development of bidding and construction documents. 3. Environmental Activities The Successful Offeror shall determine environmental impacts, delineate RPA/wetlands as required on behalf of HCDPU, and apply for all permits required to complete the project. 4.
