The Project for which the Work under the Contract Documents may be the whole or only a part is generally described as follows: Construction of a new Coarse Screen and Grit Removal Facility (CSGF), a Twelve (12) MG Equalization (EQ) storage facility and associated pump station, Two (2) electrical buildings to serve the CSGF and EQ facility, Fine screen influent structure, Fine Screen effluent structure, Improvements to the existing influent pump station; Yard piping, Electrical duct banks and structures, grading, paving and drainage improvements. Work also includes demolition of two (2) existing aerated grit facilities, junction boxes, bar screen structure, and yard piping as well as multiple utility relocations. Project Location: 1200 Coxendale Road, Chester, Virginia 23836. Scopes of work include, but are not limited to: Concrete, Masonry, Rough Carpentry, Doors & Frames, Glass and Glazing, Painting, Plumbing, Electrical, HVAC, Earthwork, Trucking and Hauling, Site Utilities, Aggregate, Dewatering, Erosion and Sediment Control, Landscaping, Asphalt, Welding, Steel Fencing, Cranes and hoist, wet taps.
