1. The Contractor shall provide all labor, instruction, aircraft, equipment, instructional materials, and qualified personnel necessary to deliver flight training services in accordance with applicable Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulations. 2. Training shall be conducted under 14 CFR Part 61 or Part 141. 3. Services shall include, but are not limited to, the following: a. Ground Instruction 1) FAA-required aeronautical knowledge instruction for each certification phase 2) Instruction covering all knowledge areas required by applicable FAA regulations 3) Preparation for FAA knowledge (written) examinations 4) Instructor-led ground training delivered in person, where permitted b. Flight Instruction 1) Dual flight instruction conducted by FAA-certified flight instructors 2) Use of Contractor-provided aircraft meeting FAA airworthiness standards 3) Flight training sufficient to meet FAA minimum flight-hour requirements 4) Day, night, cross-country, and commercial maneuvers as required c. Instrument Training 1) Instrument flight instruction conducted in FAA-approved IFR-equipped aircraft and/or FAA-approved flight training devices or simulators (if applicable) 2) Instruction on IFR procedures including approaches, holds, enroute operations, and partialpanel procedures d. Certification Preparation 1) Endorsements for FAA knowledge examinations and FAA practical (checkride) examinations 2) Pre-checkride readiness evaluation
