Specifications include, but are not limited to: a) Qualified vendors are encouraged to submit a proposal, demonstrating their capability to provide various services to Loudoun County Public Schools: b) Low to medium volume offset and digital print jobs; typically, these jobs are in the 5,000 to 15,000 quantity range.; c) High volume offset print jobs; typically, these are multiple page jobs with more than two colors in the 20,000 to 160,000 quantity range.; d) Specialty services including but not limited to laminating, die cutting, hand work, finishing, graphic design services, mail processing services, and large format printing; a) The offeror must submit the Technical Proposal containing the following information. This information will be considered the minimum content of the proposal. Proposal contents shall be arranged in the same order and identified with headings as presented herein.; • Name of firm submitting proposal; main office address; when organized; if a corporation, when and where incorporated; appropriate Federal, State, and County registration numbers.; • Provide an inventory of pre-press, offset and web press equipment; • Provide an inventory of digital print equipment; • Provide an inventory of bindery/finishing equipment; • Describe the capability to produce four-color process or multiple color jobs i.e. newsletters, booklets, brochures, manuals, and handbooks; • Describe digital printing capability – color, black & white (include max sheet size and pages per minute) and wide format options; • Describe bindery/finishing capabilities offered such as cutting, folding, saddle stitch, perfect bind, plastic-coil, die-cutting, and laminating; • Provide a description of your quality control program including complaint resolution and corrective action procedures; • Describe value added services such as mail house capabilities and graphic design, etc.; • Provide a minimum of three references; • Provide a statement outlining how you currently sustain long -term relationships with customers; • Names of primary contact/sales representative along with customer service rep and estimators; • List of potential sub-contractors used; • Primary location for vendor’s printing facility.
