Specifications include, but are not limited to: Port Technologies Business Incubator Feasibility Study. The following items will be part of the scope of work for this project as primary criteria for determining feasibility: 1. Market Needs and Competitive Landscape Analysis – The composition of the local entrepreneurial pool and the needs of prospective clients, both now and into the future, will be analyzed. This will include the analysis of industry trends such as the number of startups and exits in the maritime technologies, air/water quality and alternative energy sectors, the administration of a market demand analysis survey, consultations with potential stakeholders, and holding focus groups with potential clients in order to explore issues in more depth. The assessment of the competitive landscape will include how the proposed PTDC can differentiate itself from other technology incubators and the basis for any competitive advantage and positioning for the PTDC.
