SCOPE OF WORK: The Contractor shall furnish laborer(s), equipment, operators, mobilization, supervision, fuel, tools, parts, supplies, insurance, and incidentals as necessary to perform pipe bore and jack on Route 16 at GPS location: 36.811061 -81.425949, 36.811160 -81.425703, 36.758612 -81.422631 in Smyth County within the Bristol District. The work is the result of damage caused during Hurricane Helene where VDOT is seeking FEMA reimbursement. See scope of work attachments A, B, C and Special Term and Condition 18. All work shall be performed following the direction given by the VDOT Contract Administrator or designee. Service may include excavation, shoring, backfilling, site restoration, check dam, siltation control excavation, and outlet protection (riprap and geotextile) placement.
