FAA certified (Part 61 or Part 141) school to provide training to a pilot to obtain their ASEL CFI Initial and CFII Addon Rating. Pilot holds their commercial and instrument ratings in both ASEL and helicopters. Flight school must be located within 100 nm of the VSP Lynchburg Aviation Base located at the Lynchburg Regional Airport (LYH). Bid must include aircraft rental (to include check ride rental), simulator/AATD rental, flight/simulator instruction, ground instruction and test prep, study materials, FAA written test fees and Designated Pilot Examiner (DPE) fees (paid direct). Bid shall include the Part 61 or Part 141 minimums for ground and flight instruction. Supplier must be able to provide suitably equipped aircraft and FAA certified flight instructor to support full time instruction (40 hours per week) on a schedule to be agreed upon. Priority scheduling for VSP is requested. A syllabus and cost detail must be included with the bid.
