3.1 Fuel Oil Grade No. 2 Heating Fuel Oil shall conform in every respect to the respective detailed requirements as listed in ASTM Standard D 396- 80 (American Society of Testing Materials). 3.2 Fuel Blending and Treatment Blending During the blending months, November, December, January and February, Warren County Public Schools, County or other user entities may require the contractor (s) to blend No. 2 diesel fuel with Kerosene. Blending will be 70% No. 2 Diesel to 30% kerosene. Furthermore; all diesel fuel shall be treated with an additive to meet the specifications. Treatment Winter Treatment: Suppliers shall have an on-going testing support program that will identify the following: Sulfur, API Gravity, Cloud Point, Pour Point, CFPP, and H20. 3.3 Fuel Additive During the winter months, November, December, January and February, Warren County Public Schools, County or other County entities, may require the contractor (s) to add fuels and antifreeze/antijell additive during product drops. Warren County Public Schools will provide the additive to the contractor(s).
