The Contractor shall provide all supervision, labor, equipment, chemicals, materials, equipment maintenance and repair, fuel, supplies and traffic control and any other incidentals needed to meet the requirements of the performance specifications stated within. The work shall consist of applying various pesticides and plant growth regulators (PGRs) with truck-mounted sprayers, attached handguns, backpack sprayers, and/or other appropriate methods. Work locations include, but are not limited to roadsides, facilities, bike paths, lawns/yards, brush/wood lines, and plant beds along the right of way of various primary and secondary routes in the Northern Virginia District. All work shall be satisfactorily completed by the Contractor in accordance with the specifications herein. This includes inspection by VDOT, rework (if required by the Contractor) and final acceptance by VDOT.
