TRAINING A. The contractor shall: 1. Provide up to 150 hours of training to DBHDS and its 12 facilities for direct support professionals, nursing and clinical departments on identifying and treating personality disorders, with a focus on antisocial personality and borderline personality disorders. Training should be trauma-informed and utilize evidenced based practices, which may include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy or Mentalization-Based Treatment. 2. Provide trainings at varying times to accommodate all shifts, with options to record for future use. 3. Provide in-person and virtual training options CONSULTATION B. The contractor shall: 1. Provide up to 500 hours of consultation on individual cases or treatment implementation and methodologies, on demand within 2 business days of request from the facility. 2. Provide consultation for patients up to 30 days post-discharge to their community providers for stabilization. 3. Assure consultation includes development of, and adherence to, evidence-based practices for treatment and behavioral intervention, which may include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy or Mentalization-Based Treatment. 4. Assure staff providing consultation or training are licensed with subject matter expertise and clinical experience working with individuals with BPD and ASPD, the use of evidence-based related to treatment of these disorders, and experience providing trainings to clinical and non-clinical staff. C. The Purchasing Agency will: 1. DBHDS will ensure access, scheduling, and point person for each facility. 2. DBHDS will develop a referral process for the use of consultative services. 3. DBHDS will work with contractor to develop training schedule and ensure onsite resources are provided for such training. 4. DBHDS will convene biweekly touchpoints to review progress and use of services from contractor.
