Specifications include, but are not limited to: The intent and purpose of this Request for Proposal (RFP), and the resulting contract, is to obtain services from a qualified firm to provide parent education services for individuals and families who are before the Henrico County Juvenile and Domestic Relations District Court in accordance with the Scope of Services section of the solicitation. The target population is parties to any petition where a child whose custody, visitation, or support is contested. The class shall address the effects of separation or divorce on children, parenting responsibilities, option for conflict resolution and financial responsibilities as indicated in Virginia Code Section 16.1-278.15, 1950. It is estimated that the 14th District Court will refer approximately 700 to 1,000 individuals to attend parent education services each year. The individuals will be referred from the Henrico Juvenile and Domestic Relations District Court.
