General Requirements: Attendance of a Mandatory Pre-bid Meeting is required for bidding. It is the Contractor’s responsibility to verify any information, measurements and obtain any clarifications prior to submitting a bid response. DCR is not liable for any errors or misinterpretations made by the Contractor in response to this solicitation. Submit all required documents. Vendor Data Sheet Copy of applicable license/certification(s) Work Dates and Time: The work must be scheduled no later than seven (7) calendar days after receipt of award purchase order. Completion of work must be within the scheduled timeframes. Start date and time to be coordinated with site contact. All services shall be performed, unless mutually agreed upon by the Contractor and the Park Representative, during normal business hours, between the hours of 8:00 A.M. TO 4:00 P.M., Monday through Friday, except for State & Federal Holidays. Requests to work on Saturdays and Sundays shall be approved by the park contact prior to start date. “Soft” Pressure-wash, Prepare, and Paint Cabins 3, 5, 11 and 12, including the exterior walls, exterior wood trim, and previously painted exterior doors. Colors TBD by park staff The Contractor shall remove or protect items which are not scheduled to be painted including, but not limited to, ground surfaces, block foundation, brick work and shingles. The Contractor shall remove and reinstall all existing devices presently mounted on exterior walls and ceilings as it applies to painting areas, including but not limited to light fixtures, fans, shutters, down spouts, etc. The contractor may trim back limbs, branches or foliage which impede proper preparation and painting of the exterior surfaces. The Contractor shall pressure-wash, clean, repair, prepare, and paint all exterior parts of the building. Broken, missing or damaged siding or trim shall be identified with designated park staff and repaired by the contractor. When possible, an Epoxy Penetrant and Filler should be used to repair small, damaged areas of the siding. Siding that cannot be filled with and Epoxy Penetrant and Filler and made good shall be replaced with like in kind materials. The contractor will make a recommendation to the park staff of the wood (sills, trim, etc.) that need to be replaced.
