Specifications include, but are not limited to: PERFORMANCE AUDIT AND CONSULTING SERVICES The Contractor and/or any assigned staff must have the qualifications and experience necessary to provide needed performance audit, compliance reviews, and consulting services on an “as-needed” basis to the Port. Specifically, successful respondents will be able to develop information-gathering strategies and tools, analyze and interpret the results of data-gathering, ensure data gathered can support all conclusions, and produce well-written reports for any service performed for the Port. All services performed by the Contractor shall be under the general direction of the Departmental Audit Manager. Such services will entail various subjects, such as those described in the Project Overview section above. The services performed by the Contractor may include performance audits, compliance reviews, management assessments and reviews, and/or organizational studies. Projects may be independently conducted by the Contractor or performed along with MA staff. The Contractor may be asked to provide subject matter experts for on-going audits or other activities conducted by Port staff. The timing of the projects and the level of difficulty will dictate the number and qualifications of staff required. Respondents should provide a detailed, comprehensive listing of their general staff qualifications, including the ability to subcontract with specialists as needed, in a variety of areas, and the hourly rates for such services. Successful respondents will be placed on an audit contracting list, or “pool” of firms, to provide performance audits, compliance reviews, and consulting services on an “as-needed” basis, which may include subcontracting with other individuals or firms.
