1. This project scope of work is to construct an orchard fence (2,205 square feet) with two gates and stream crossing at the Augusta Forestry Center in Crimora, Virginia based on the specifications outlined below. 2. The contractor shall be responsible for furnishing all labor, equipment to build fence (including all necessary personnel protection equipment), fence material, transportation, and miscellaneous supplies necessary to complete the project in conformance with the specifications. 3. The contractor shall be responsible for timely delivery of all required fence materials as each section is constructed. 4. No unused materials shall remain anywhere along the fence line after work is completed. 5. All equipment will be washed and cleaned prior to construction to minimize spread of nonnative seed sources. 6. Bidders must have at least five (5) years’ experience successfully fulfilling fence, as evidenced by the references indicated on the Vendor Data Sheet. Include basic information and history about the business entity, financial information, technical capability, equipment to be used on the project and any other information you feel is important for us to know. A minimum of three references are required. 7. Working hours are restricted from 7 am to 5 pm during construction. 8. Contractor is required to contact DOF nursery staff each day of work upon arrival. 9. Work area shall be maintained to prevent tracking of dirt onto the adjacent roadway. The local roadways shall be swept as necessary to remove any materials that have been tracked from the site
