1. On-site Personnel The contractor shall provide a sufficient number of on-site personnel required to meet the parts availability performance standards mutually agreed upon by the City and the Contractor. 2. Parts Inventory The contractor shall provide on-site parts inventories adequate to meet the parts availability performance standards in paragraph Q. B. Computerized Fleet Asset Management System The Contractor shall utilize the City's Fleet Asset Management System, AssetWorks' FleetFocus, version 24.2 (or greater version), for the purpose of managing and optimizing its parts inventory, issuing parts to work orders, and for procuring parts from its contractors in the most cost effective and expeditious manner possible. The Contractor shall be responsible for supplying and maintaining the associated computer hardware for this system. The contractor shall be the only entity permitted to make inventory adjustments in the FleetFocus system. Adjustments will be monitored by Fleet Management's database manager. Inventory Stocking Plan The contractor shall be capable of developing a stocking plan for the inventory that is based on the needs of technicians, and the age, condition and quantity of equipment in the fleet. The inventory is based primarily on routine preventive maintenance items, routine repair items, and not major repair items such as engines, transmissions, differentials, etc. The City and the contractor will work together to establish the baseline inventory, with a goal of 90% of the daily inventory requirement maintained in-house.
