The majority of the services are anticipated to be typical water and wastewater treatment plant mechanical type services such as pipefitting, fabrication services, field installation (above and below ground) of mechanical equipment and pipes, plastic chemical carrier pipe repair/replacement, chemical feed equipment repair/replacement, process analyzer installation, pumping equipment repair and replacement, as well as maintenance and service of Andritz Belt Filter Press and Drum Drying System equipment. Model SMXS14, Serial 691-1020 and two (2) Andritz 2.0m Gravity Belt Thickeners. Projects may be new installations or may entail work on existing systems. It is anticipated that one or more contracts will be awarded under this solicitation for an assortment of maintenance specialties including but not limited to those outlined below. The Town reserves the right to competitively bid any large construction projects separate from this RFP: • General Building Mechanical Repairs and Services • General Water Treatment Mechanical Repairs and Services • General Wastewater Treatment Mechanical Repairs and Services • Wastewater Biosolids Dryer Repairs and Service (Andritz System) • Wastewater Biosolids Belt Filter Press and Gravity Belt Thickener (Andritz System). • Water Filtration system and media replacement • Ultraviolet Disinfection Systems • Composite chemical storage tank replacement • Pump Station Rehabilitation and Equipment repair • Other services as listed in Section III of this RFP may be assigned under the contracts.
