The Contractor shall provide: A. Carts: Forty-six (46) – 95 to 96 gallon rolling mobile tote-type carts with secured lids constructed of heavy industrial strength plastic suitably designed for substantial service. The County must approve prior use of other sized carts. Recycling instruction labeling shall be affixed to all carts. 1. All equipment, materials, and supplies provided and used under the contract shall comply with all applicable standards, codes, specifications, workmanship, etc. 2. Prior to placing carts in service, carts will be inspected by the County to ensure they are in good repair, properly maintained, and acceptable for the intended use. Carts shall remain in their original assigned location unless approved by the County. 3. Within three (3) working days of notification, the Contractor shall exchange carts deemed by the County as unsightly, damaged, unusable, or without lids. The exchange of carts will be at no cost to the County. No service will be provided on County observed holidays and closings. In the event that services are scheduled on a holiday, the Contractor shall provide services on the following business day. B. Pick-up: Pick-up services shall be provided on a weekly or bi-weekly schedule between 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. Collection will be from the rear of each designated County building and carts dumped and returned to their original locations or replaced with a similar type cart. C. Locations: The County reserves the right to add or delete locations or containers at any time during the term of this contract. The County will notify the Contractor when any such changes are needed. D. Recyclables: All office paper and single stream recycling materials must be recycled or reused except non-recyclable materials or contamination. E. Communications: The Contractor shall provide contact information (i.e. name, phone number, email address, etc.) for all responses (normal and emergency). The County will not accept nor acknowledge voicemails left by the Contractor.
