A. Deliverables 1. Drug and Alcohol Testing Services a. Conduct preplacement drug testing for prospective employees possessing commercial driver’s licenses (CDL) requiring adherence to Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations, and prospective safety sensitive employees (non-regulated), within one (1) week of notification from the Town, unless otherwise agreed. b. Conduct random drug and breath alcohol testing for DOT and safetysensitive (non-regulated) employees. i. Random testing may be scheduled and administered at a Town facility agreed upon by both parties or conducted at the physician’s office or medical facility. ii. Manage the DOT and safety-sensitive (non-regulated) random drug and alcohol testing pools by performing the random sampling and monitoring the annual DOT testing requirements for compliance. c. Conduct post-accident and reasonable suspicion drug and breath alcohol testing for DOT employees and all other employees. d. Conduct return to duty and follow-up testing for DOT employees. e. Provide Medical Review Officer (MRO) services for drug and breath alcohol testing. 2. Physicals and Related Occupational Health Services a. Conduct preplacement physicals (DOT and standard) for prospective employees within one (1) week of notification from the Town, unless otherwise agreed. b. Conduct preplacement and recurring physicals for law enforcement officers within one (1) week of notification from the Town, unless otherwise agreed. c. Conduct baseline and periodic audiograms for prospective employees and current employees within one (1) week of notification from the Town, unless otherwise agreed. d. Conduct lead testing and monitoring for law enforcement officers within one (1) week of notification from the Town, unless otherwise agreed. e. Conduct respirator fit testing and medical evaluation for current employees as designated by the Town within one (1) month of notification from the Town, unless otherwise agreed. f. Conduct Hepatitis B and TDAP (diphtheria, tetanus, and pertussis) vaccinations for current employees as designated by the Town within one (1) week of notification from the Town, unless otherwise agreed. g. Conduct fitness for duty physical evaluations for all positions within one (1) week of notification from the Town, unless otherwise agreed. h. Provide occupational health consulting on an as-needed basis for purposes of workplace safety, ergonomics, Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) matters, policy review, and other related inquiries. i. Ability to provide an annual worksite flu vaccination program with the Town’s Human Resources Department. j. Ability to provide other occupational medical services at Town worksites when sufficient demand exists; potential services include but are not limited to audiometric testing, respirator fit testing, etc.
