The timber sale area contains approximately 56.6 acres of SFI® and ATFS certified wood in one block consisting of mostly pine timber (see Attachment A). All sawtimber and standing pulpwood is estimated and scheduled for harvest cutting under this contract. The timber sale boundary is marked with blue paint stripes except that road frontage is marked with blue flagging. Ingress and egress shall be only through access roads shown on the map or mutually agreed upon. All logging activity will be confined to the sale area and any logging debris accumulated outside the sale area, including the reserve strips, must be pulled back inside the sale area. Stump height shall not exceed six (6) inches above mineral soil. All sawtimber and pulpwood sized trees within the sale area have been cruised. All merchantable timber is to be harvested by clearcutting. To improve post-harvest wildlife habitat, scattered standing dead trees should be left when safe to do so. The Department reserves all rights to cone and/or seed collection from the tops of designated or cut trees.
