Specifications include, but are not limited to: The project consists of the renovation and additions to the existing Northampton High School and Career and Technical Education (CTE) building on the same site. After completion of the project, the renovated high school facility will be utilized as a combined Middle and High School building. The CTE building will get a minor storage addition, but the extent of the work in this building will consist of interior renovations and replacement of building systems. All buildings are one story. The project will be phased construction and will be occupied during construction. Hazardous materials abatement, building demolition and site demolition are included in the project.; Sitework will include geothermal wells, drainage excavations, utilities, storm drainage, fill, soil erosion, curbs and sidewalks, roads, lawn areas, bioretention areas, fencing and landscaping. Project includes new stormwater features and engineered infrastructure for on grade and underground items: plumbing, mechanical, electrical building systems, and tie-in to existing and/or new building systems. Renovations to existing athletic fields or stadium is not included in the scope of work, except as may be outlined in the bid documents.; The Owner shall provide work under separate contracts to provide the equipment for: telephone system (to include head-end and handsets), CCTV system, access control system, intrusion detection system and AV integration associated with projectors and with interactive displays. These Separate Contracts shall all be coordinated and overseen by the General Contractor.
