The Virginia Department of Transportation (herein referred to as "VDOT") is soliciting bids from qualified suppliers to furnish, deliver and warranty one (1) new National Center for Asphalt Technology (NCAT) Furnace with Ignition Panel Upgrade to the VDOT Materials Division for use in asphalt laboratory testing. The Contractor shall furnish, deliver and warranty one (1) new, unused NCAT Furnace with Ignition Panel Upgrade that shall include the following capabilities and specifications: • Built-in Digital Ignition Panel • Power Source: 208V/60hz, 28 Amps • Contains electric internal balance • Automatic locking door • Large, 7” Touchscreen LCD • Accommodate samples up to 5000 grams at extended testing times • Auto wake and sleep settings • Additional power surge protection • Meets American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials (AASHTO) T308 specification • Meets American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) D6307 specification • Operating, maintenance and parts manual • Warranty
