1. The bid is aggregate in nature (all or nothing). 2. Deliveries shall be made to school cafeterias on a scheduled basis between 6:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. Milk deliveries will be made once per week. Buckingham County expects to have fresh milk delivered and on hand at all times. All products should have at least 7 days of life from the day of delivery to school unless otherwise approved by Buckingham County. If the days of life guarantee is less than 7 days from the date of delivery, then deliveries shall be made twice a week to coincide with the days of life to ensure fresh milk is on hand at all schools. There shall be no back orders. Inclement weather and its impact on school operations may require adjustments to delivery schedules. 3. In the event of shortages on deliveries, the bidder will notify Buckingham County of the shortage and suggest a substitute product. Buckingham County reserves the right to accept the proposed substitute or to procure the item(s) from another source. 4. The bidder shall provide Buckingham County with the option of online ordering. 5. The bidder’s item identification code shall be submitted for each item on Attachment F – Bid Price Sheet.
