Specifications include, but are not limited to: The intent and purpose of this Request for Proposal (“RFP”), and the resulting contract(s), is to obtain services from a qualified firm(s) to provide mental health services to the County of Henrico, Virginia Division of Fire, in accordance with the Scope of Services section of the solicitation. The County may award multiple contracts for this RFP. SCOPE OF SERVICES The Successful Offeror shall provide all labor, supervision, materials, equipment, and medical personnel to provide in person, or virtual, mental health services for DOF personnel on a as needed hourly basis. The Successful Offeror shall provide the following minimum requirements: A. General Requirements The Successful Offeror shall: 1. Provide time-sensitive response time and schedule appointments to be readily available to provide the needed psychiatric services. 2. Identify and evaluate appropriate treatment for providing substance use treatment and have extensive knowledge of evidence-based treatment. 3. Meet with shifts periodically for improving relationships and cultural connectivity. 4. Provide services virtually or in person. 5. Must have office/facilities no more than 15 miles outside of the Henrico border or offer onsite services. 6. Abide by Federal and State Laws and regulations. 7. Agree to hold private, confidential, and secure all Protected Health Information (PHI) and records of client contact. B. Specific Requirements The Successful Offeror shall: 1. Be licensed and insured in the Commonwealth of Virginia. 2. Maintain malpractice and professional liability insurance for clinical providers and administrative staff who will be assigned this contract. 3. Have experience working with fire service personnel and like professionals, such as those with military service 4. Have experience in individual and group counseling and who will be willing to work with other stakeholders and teams to support training. 5. Willing to work with the DOF internal and external partners to facilitate increased mental health awareness. These internal partners could be the Peer Support Team, Henrico Fire Chaplins, Employee Assistance, etc. 6. Must be willing to work with current Mental Health initiatives and support processes for improvement. 7. Provide plan of treatment and appropriate follow up as needed. 8. Maintain call monitoring to support 24-hour response time. 9. The Psychologist shall provide phone and email contact. 10. Must communicate to a designated DOF person, times of unavailability (longer than 7 days) in advance to ensure continuity of services.
