The Contractor shall provide medical treatment to incarcerated individuals in each of the four (4) PWMRADC buildings. The Contractor will work in a collaborative manner with all disciplines including nursing, jail therapists, psychiatric staff, and security staff. 1. The Contractor shall be on-site four (4) to five (5) days per week determined by the Director of Nursing not to exceed (NTE) 1,248 hours per year. Each clinic will be up to six (6) hours to provide medical sick call for inmates, respond to routine medical and emergency requests by the Nursing Staff of PWMRADC, perform chart review, quality improvement (QI), review policies, and provide staff training. Clinics may be held in all four (4) ADC buildings. 2. One (1) day per week (preferably Wednesday) the clinic shall include chronic care patients in addition to acute care patients. 3. The Contractor shall be called upon to provide medical treatment to incarcerated individuals, including males, females, transgender, transsexual, inter-sex, gender fluid, and gender variant in accordance with PWMRADC SOP 4135. 4. The Contractor shall be called upon to provide treatment to incarcerated individuals some of whom may be infected with contagious diseases and some of whom may be violent. Security staff will accompany high security inmates during examination and medium and low security inmates as needed. 5.
