Specifications include, but are not limited to: a)Charges based on Licensed Independent Practitioner’s total usage (LIP), with an understanding that as many as 25 LIP’s could potentially use the system.b)Approximately 12,000 minutes and 165,791 lines annually. c)24/7 Unlimited access to digital system d)Transcription services is on an as needed basis, the end user will at times request vendor to be available to act as the transcriber, in cases of coverage issues or backlog issues. e)Vendor should not to count the headers and footers as part of the 65 visible black character (VBC) line. f)Vendor is expected to transcribe patient annuals, discharge summaries, and deathsummaries within a 48 hour Turnaround Time (TAT). g)Vendors shall be able to direct type all reports to include but not limited to patient annuals, discharge summaries, death summaries.h)Vendor should be able to dictate approximately 1,100 reports annually. i)Vendor shall have a platform that is to be used to transcribe the reports.j)Vendor shall comply with HIPAA privacy requirements. k)Vendor shall provide a listing of security measures in place to ensure privacy and safety of patient data.l)Vendor shall maintain certified medical transcriptionists.m)Vendor shall provide document management services that offer online editing and electronic signature capability.n)Vendor shall deliver finished documents to the HIM Department via encrypted e-mail, not to the individual provider/dictators.
