a. The purpose of this Request for Proposals (herein, “RFP”) is to solicit proposals from highly qualified sources to establish a contract for Medical, Dental, Vision, and EAP services for all full-time eligible employees, and retirees in accordance with the enclosed specifications. The current benefits are bundled through The Anthem Self-Funded. There are additional benefit plans that are employee paid through Delta Dental of Virginia and VSP. Danville Public Schools are interested in receiving both bundled and unbundled quotes for the services mentioned prior. b. The Group reserves the right to award more than one Offeror. c. The Group will select the firm(s) who they determine most closely satisfies their needs. There is no requirement for acceptance of the lowest cost of service offered, and specific requirements may be waived or amended at the discretion of the Group.
