Specifications include, but are not limited to: RENTAL OF MATS SPECIFICATIONS: A. SERVICE: Deliveries are to be made once a week on a day selected by the University. Deliveries and pickups of mats must be made after 7:00 A.M. to the Academic/Administrative buildings and after 7:30 A.M. in Residence Halls. The Contractor will have the option of completing all deliveries and pickups on the same day or splitting the delivery and pick-up between two days. If split delivery, Residence Halls should be grouped together and Academic/Administrative buildings should be grouped together. The days must be approved in advance by the University of Mary Washington Housekeeping Manager. There will be no service during the week between Christmas and New Years. B. MATS: Mats are to be rubber backed, heat twisted, nylon mat. Bidder shall provide a specification sheet on the mats. Mats are to be of two basic colors as selected by the University. Sizes are to be 3'x5', 4'x6' and 3'x10'. Weekly inventory of mats on the campus at any given time is to be in accordance with Attachment B. The inventory will be reduced during the summer season. The University Housekeeping Manager is to be notified on a weekly basis of any missing mats. Missing mats are to be replaced immediately by a new mat. If the University can locate the missing mat, it will be returned to the company. The company is to bill the University for rental of the additional mat for the period it was used. If the missing mat cannot be located, it will be replaced at the cost specified on the bid form
