Material/Installation; 1. Furnish, deliver and install eighteen (18) fall davit bases, one (1) mobile mast, and one (1) davit arm. Proposed system to be manufactured by 3M fall protection, or equal. Additional specifications as follows: i. Eighteen (18) stainless steel davit bases; ii. One (1) confined space portable fall arrest post (1 user – FALL RESTRAINT ONLY); iii. One (1) confined space davit arm; iv. One (1) Dual mode SRL – Fall Arrest and Retrieval (1 user 310 lbs or less with tools); v. One (1) SRL mounting bracket; vi. Two (2) Harnesses; vii. One (1) 6’ Lanyard; 2. Furnish, deliver and install eighteen (18) removable guardrail sections. Proposed guardrail to be manufactured by Safety Rail Company, or equal. Additional specifications as follows: i. Eighteen (18) 5’ removable guardrail sections – safety yellow; ii. Guardrail sections to include toeboard – safety yellow; iii. (36) permanent mounting brackets – safety yellow; iv. All attachment appurtenances; C. Training and Certification; 1. Contractor shall provide a brief end user training session upon completion of the installation. 2. Contractor shall provide system certification which conveys that all systems installed meet all applicable OSHA/ANSI requirements as well as any manufacturer specific technical/installation specifications. Period of validity to be one year from date of acceptance.
