1. The Food Service Unit of the DOC, where service is needed, will contact the awarded contractor(s) and advise the need for maintenance or repair of equipment and location. The Contractor shall contact the DOC location within 3 hours of DOC leaving a message if the call was not answered. The DOC will advise piece(s) of equipment that require maintenance and/or repair and schedule the date and time for the work to be performed. It is imperative that the contractor arrives on time and prepared to work. The VADOC primary hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 8am - 4pm. 2. Equipment shall include any, but not limited to, the following: • Dishwasher • Oven • Stove • Grill • Steamer • Kettle (stationary and tilt) • Skillet (stationary and tilt) • Mixer • Slicer • Potato Peeler • food Processor • Hot and/or Cold Serving Line • Hot Boxes • Food Warmers • Refrigerator (Walk-In or Stand-Alone) • Freezer (Walk-In or Stand-Alone) • Compressors for Refrigeration • Deep Fryer • Rotary Bakery Oven • Chill Blaster • Waffle Iron • Panini Grill • Merry Chef Oven • Induction Grill 3. Equipment is electric, steam, LP gas or natural gas. The successful bidder(s) shall have knowledge of and be able to repair and/or maintain all powered food service equipment. 4. It is preferred that bidders be able to service, at the minimum, one (1) region completely. The regions are Eastern, Central and Western, and each facility is listed below with their DOC addresses for reference.
