Specifications include, but are not limited to:Diamond hone to remove scratches and imperfections in the flooring using diamond pads with various grit sizes. 2. Polish and crystallize surface to a uniform finish. 3. Original restoration shall be done during the summer (after graduation) and during the off season (Christmas shutdown). 4. Buildings will be accessible while work is being completed. The Contractor’s work schedule shall be flexible as to not interrupt on-going events in the buildings. Weekend work may be necessary. 5. Walls, windows and baseboards shall be protected at least 24” above the floor where work is being performed. The Contractor shall only use painter’s tape and green or yellow frog tape. Duct tape, masking tape, GAF tape, scotch tape or packing tape shall not be used. 6. No wax or any other type of finish shall be applied to the marble floor. 7. The Contractor shall perform the specified service with expertise, professionalism and in a timely manner. 8. Proposers shall be prepared to take their measurements at the MANDATORY pre-proposal meeting. 9. Furniture removal and replacement shall be done by the Contractor. All carpet and transitions shall be covered when necessary. 10. The Contractor shall maintain a clean and safe work environment. Clean up of the job sites shall be completed at the end of each workday. 11. All OSHA regulations, state and local laws must be followed
