Specifications include, but are not limited to: Qualified firms to provide Lowboy Equipment Hauling Services within Arlington, Fairfax, Loudoun and Prince William County in VDOT’s Northern Virginia District. Contractor shall provide lowboy equipment hauling services for the Northern Virginia District Equipment Shop. Equipment hauling services shall include all labor, equipment, fuel, supplies, tools, supervision, transportation, delivery, permits and all such direct and indirect overhead cost associated with providing this service. The types of equipment to be hauled may consist of, but are not limited to, graders, backhoes, loaders, trucks, bridge fabrication supplies, and road barricades. The service may require hauling equipment that is over-weight, over-length and over-width. Some equipment may not be operational and shall require manual loading and unloading.
