Specifications include, but are not limited to: complete replacement of HVAC equipment and systems, new electrical power distribution including new low energy LED lighting, new fire alarm and communication systems, new technology infrastructure, new finishes including flooring, painting, and ceilings, replacement of all interior and exterior doors and hardware new access control systems new glazing including replacement of exterior windows and glass entrance systems with high performing insulated double glazed units and replacement of old interior wired glass with clear tempered glazing new roofing, and upgrades necessary to bring the school into compliance with the 2010 Americans with Disabilities Act Standards for Accessible Design as well as accessibility requirements of ANSI A117.1 as required by the Virginia Uniform Statewide Building Code.
